Wonderful kaiseki meal at Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi

When I went to Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi(日本橋三越, see the previous post) for shopping, I had a gorgeous lunch at Nadaman (なだ万, see the previous post)! Though it is generally difficult to identify rich people here (Japanese people think ostentation is shameful), I saw many elegant madams eating there. I also joined them just for a while;)
Nadaman (in Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi)
Starter
Shrimp cake with clear soup
Boiled common Japanese conger
Sashimi
Potato dumpling with crab/edamame sauce
Wagyu beef steak
Grilling on the hot stone!
Steamed rich with fish/edamame
Grilled porgy and sweet pork stew
Rice, miso soup and pickles
Almond milk pudding
Japanese fu dumpling with bean jam
The above kaiseki set meal including wagyu beef steak costs JPY11,286 including tax/service charge at lunch (wow!). It is expensive indeed, but worth for the price. Delicate, sophisticated and delicious! It is unbelievable to have such a superb meal at the department store. Service is definitely good. Dishes are provided quickly considering the location. Only minus point might be...the interior. For having such a nice meal, the interior of this branch is not cool. Even so, I was very satisfied! My rating is 4.5 out of 5. Gochiso-samadeshita!
